TapJot is a local-first iPhone notes app. No account is required and TapJot does not run a custom backend for syncing, analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Data collection

TapJot does not collect, sell, rent, or use your personal data for advertising or tracking.

Local storage

Notes, titles, voice recordings, photos, links, transcripts, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Speech transcription

Transcription uses Apple speech frameworks. On supported devices and languages, speech processing and downloaded language assets are handled on device.

Sharing

TapJot accesses text, links, or photos only when you explicitly send them through the iOS Share Sheet. Content you export is handled by the destination you choose.

Notifications

Reminder dates and local notifications are scheduled on your device. TapJot does not operate a notification backend.

Purchases

TapJot Pro purchases are processed by Apple. TapJot receives entitlement status but does not receive your payment-card details.

Your choices

You can edit or delete notes inside TapJot. Deleting the app may remove its locally stored data according to iOS behavior. You can disable microphone, speech recognition, photo, or notification access in iPhone Settings.
