TapJot does not ask you to create an account and does not operate a user database.
Text notes, voice recordings, titles, transcripts, and app preferences are stored on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
TapJot does not run a custom backend for analytics, tracking, synchronization, or advertising.
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Speech features use Apple system frameworks where available.
TapJot does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising SDKs. If you share a note, export a file, or send content through another app, that action is controlled by you and may be handled by the destination app or service you choose.
Deleting TapJot from your device may remove locally stored app data according to iOS behavior. For App Store purchases, Apple may retain purchase records under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Support
Use the App Store listing to contact the developer if the issue continues.
Remove the widget from the Home Screen, add it again, then open TapJot once before trying the widget buttons.
Open iPhone Settings, find TapJot, and enable Microphone. Voice notes need this permission to record audio.
Speech recognition availability can depend on language, device state, and Apple's on-device language model download.
Make sure the receiving iPhone has TapJot installed, then open the shared .tapjot file from the share sheet or Files app.
